The Anxious Poet’s Podcast began in 2018 exploring poetry, anxiety and vulnerability. Each episode delves into different themes using poetry and conversation – sometimes Adrian is joined by a guest. There are also Minipoemcasts in which Adrian shares a poem and a short commentary. He has recently started a collaboration with a Sheffield musician called Andy Selman and some of the Poemcasts have musical accompaniment.

Grim Up North? is a podcast about the North, from the North. It is a collaboration with Matt Carr who is a writer and author with many published works. He is a keen commentator on politics and culture and very active on social media. We both live in Sheffield and realised that though Matt has lived all over the world he has a real fascination for the North. We decided to collaborate to produce this Podcast – it combines my poetic sensibilities and Matt’s incredible ability to research and get under the skin of an issue. It is always a compelling listen with many and varied guests from George Orwell’s son to writer of Nordic Noir.
